The Village

The Village is a LEED-certified apartment-style housing community for upperclassmen. The furnished apartments in The Village are constructed on a rolling terrain with views of the surrounding mountains and campus athletic facilities.

Each apartment is configured with four private bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a living room which opens to the kitchen and a washer and dryer. The “village” atmosphere is facilitated by expansive porches, designated areas for grilling, and abundant green space surrounding the apartments.

Village Features

• 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in each apartment (private bedroom for each student with shared bathroom)
• Each bedroom includes a dresser, desk, bed, and storage/closet area (XL twin sheets are required)
• Living room includes a couch, two chairs, entertainment center, an end table and a coffee table
• Kitchen includes granite countertops, ample cabinet storage, and eat-in bar with three chairs and full appliance package (refrigerator, dishwasher, range, and stove)
• Washer and dryer in each apartment
• Large shared outdoor veranda space
• Private porch
• Cellular enhancement to boost cellular signal
• Hard-wired connections for gaming systems and internet-ready audio visual components in living room
• Wireless internet connection

Village Measurements

Bedrooms

Measurements vary depending on the location of the bedroom, floor and building. However, a standard measurement for each bedroom (for students interested in cutting carpet) is 9′ x 9′.

Windows

• Bedroom windows: 3′ x 5′
• Living room windows: 3′ x 6′
• Windows at ends of basement hallways and overlooking side or entry porches from basement living rooms: 3′ x 4′

Storage areas/closets

The inside clear dimension is 2′ x 4′.

Moving in to the Village?

We can’t wait to have you! To move into these buildings, please use Maple Street and move into the parking lot associated with these buildings. Campus Police will be on site to direct you. We will have a move in crew waiting at of each of these buildings to assist you with unloading your vehicles. It is important that traffic flow continues to move, so once your vehicle is unloaded, move it to one of our residential parking lots around campus.
